Trophy Eyes Reveal Details Of Headline UK Tour

Trophy Eyes have announced a UK headline tour, set to take place this April.

The Aussie punk-rock outfit will be playing seven dates across the UK in a few months time, starting at Birmingham’s Asylum before making their way to the Portsmouth-based Takedown Festival via Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London’s O2 Islington Academy.

See the full dates below – and visit the band’s site to buy tickets.

April 05: BIRMINGHAM Asylum

April 06: LEEDS Project House

April 07: GLASGOW Cathouse

April 09: MANCHESTER Rebellion

April 10: BRISTOL The Fleece

April 11: LONDON O2 Islington Academy

April 13: PORTSMOUTH Takedown Festival

From there, they’ll go on to a number of dates in Germany and one night (April 19) in Milan.

Speaking of their hype for the forthcoming tour, the band have said:

“We’re pumped to tour the UK and Europe again.

“We haven’t been to a lot of these cities in over five years, so it’s great to have the chance to get reacquainted.

“It’s special to us to be able to travel back and perform for the people who have supported us and listened to us all these years. I can’t wait to share that moment together.

“We’ve only ever been to Europe in winter too, so I’m especially excited to travel through these beautiful old cities with the sun on our backs. Playing our brand new album every night, at this point, is just a bonus.”

They’ll of course be playing their latest album ‘Suicide and Sunshine’ live on the road; their fourth studio album which arrived in June via Hopeless Records.

Speaking about the album in the run-up to its release at the time, frontman John Floreani explained to Rock Sound via our ‘The Album Story’ feature:

“Every time you go in, if you’re not trying to write your best record, there’s really no point being in there. Like fighters, or swimmers, or athletes, if you don’t think you can win, what are you doing?

“It’s not a winning situation for me, but I was there to write my best music. The idea was to get the total Trophy Eyes sound into a palpable thing.”

We also teamed up with the band to create this exclusive t-shirt design, available for delivery worldwide and only from Rock Sound.
