It’s been five years since the tragic death of The Prodigy‘s Keith Flint, but in the memory of his bandmates, the iconic vocalist has proven “unfadeable.” 

The passing of Flint, who died by suicide at the age of 49 in March 2019, sent shockwaves through the music industry and among fans worldwide. The legendary artist’s dynamic presence, both on and offstage, helped propel The Prodigy to global fame and make them one of the most influential acts in the electronic music scene.

As the voice behind iconic tracks such as “Firestarter” and “Breathe,” Flint was was a trailblazer who ruptured conventional boundaries between rock and electronic music, fusing together elements of punk and rave to create something entirely new and pioneering for his time. As The Prodigy’s lead vocalist, he is equally known for his raw energy and unapologetic intensity, which captivated audiences around the world.

Paying homage to Flint, the band’s surviving members shared a heartfelt tribute on social media yesterday, March 4th.

“It’s been 5 years. We miss u so much brother, they wrote. “U are always with us, right by our side, every time the energy burns, every time the beat drop, unfadeable. “We live forever!”
