Created to showcase the very best of Rude Records talent, Rude Records Presents: The Getaway Tour will start on Wednesday 26th April at London’s Boston Music Room, and will continue to Satan’s Hollow in Manchester and The Garage Attic in Glasgow.

Giving insight into the reasons for Rude Records Presents: The Getaway Tour, A&R and General Manager, Federico Croci says:

“We’re really excited about Rude Records Presents: The Getaway tour taking place in the UK in April. It goes without saying, live shows are vital to artists, especially in their development, and we’re pleased to give our brilliant artists: Delaire The Liar, Modern Error and Oakman, the opportunity to play in these cities before the summer. There’s no doubt it’s going to be a great run of shows, these artists are outstanding in their live performances and we can’t wait to see them on stage”.

Delaire The Liar are set to headline Rude Records Presents: The Getaway this spring. Known for their punk rock dexterity and imitable live performances, Delaire The Liar’s ended December 2021 with their powerful EP Eat Your Own with praise from BBC Radio 1, Upset, Kerrang!,  When The Horn Blows and more across the UK music press. Standouts at last year’s 2000 Trees festival, Delaire The Liar have headlined their own show at Face Down in London, and picked up impressive tour support slots with As Everything Unfolds, Creeper and Vukovi to name a few.

Modern Error

It’s been a year since Modern Error released the self-produced and profoundly conceptual debut album, their debut album “Victim of A Modern Age” – a release that featured on Kerrang!’s top picks of 2022 list. In the year since release, Modern Error made their debut at Download Festival, released a collaborative track with Bury Tomorrow and have amassed over a quarter-of-a-million listeners to date. Fresh from their support slot with Void of Vision this week, Modern Error’s live show is truly a sight to behold.

Oakman

Oakman will return to the UK in their first appearance since 2019. The band burst onto the Lyon rock scene in 2016 with their self-produced EP Waterscape, and have been going from strength to strength ever since. Opening for the likes of Enter Shikari, Basement, ZZ Top and Bukowski in France, the band have toured across UK, Italy, Japan, US and many more. Developing their own blend of alt-pop rock, Oakman dropped their latest release, SCP EP, in September 2022.
