YouTube star turned WWE heel Logan Paul admitted that UFC president Dana White left him on read after he pleaded with him to be on the undercard of UFC 306.
Logan Paul has wanted to join the UFC for years now, having openly begged the organization’s president, Dana White, for a chance to prove his combat sports skills in the octagon alongside little bro Jake Paul as far back as 2018.
Despite his high-profile boxing match with Floyd Mayweather and his many exploits in the pro wrestling world, Dana White hasn’t approved The Maverick to join his company — even though Prime Hydration became the official drink of the UFC in 2023.
In fact, Paul says that the UFC prez “completely ignored” him after asking to get on the undercard of one of the org’s biggest events to date… and he blames one fighter, in particular, for his staunchness on the subject.
Logan Paul and KSI linked up with Dana White in 2023 to make their beverage brand, Prime Hydration, the official drink of the UFC.

Logan spoke out on his conversation with Dana White during an episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast on March 25, revealing that he’d texted him in the hopes of getting involved with UFC 306, which was held in the Las Vegas Sphere in September 2024.
“I texted him, I said, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere,’” he began. “Basically, he completely ignored me, which I think spoke volumes. I haven’t bothered him since.”
While Logan considers himself a better MMA fighter than a boxer due to his history as a competitive high school wrestler on top of his WWE career, he feels that White is too leery to offer him a spot on the squad due to his past experiences with CM Punk.
“I think for the right fight, the right amount of money — man, I’m an entertainer at the end of the day,” Paul said.
When special guest, UFC champ Tom Aspinall, asked him if he could follow a similar path to CM Punk, Paul said the wrestler “f**ked it up.”
“After that, Dana was like, ‘I’m never doing this again,’” Paul mused. “He’s a great wrestler, not a UFC fighter. I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just a boxer.”
It’s true that Paul has ample experience in the wrestling world, making him a decent candidate to follow in CM Punk’s footsteps, especially given that TKO owns both the WWE and the UFC to make the potential transition extra smooth.
White has admitted in the past that he’s open to Paul fighting in the UFC, but it looks like the time isn’t right for him to make his debut just yet – especially since Logan says his little brother Jake “ruined” his relationship with the combat sports prez.
