Destroy Boys have shared a new video for their latest single ‘Plucked’, featuring a tea party with a difference.
Ahead of the band’s appearance at Reading & Leeds Festivals, as well as a one-off headline show in Nottingham, the anthemic track recently marked the Sacramento band’s first release of the year.
A shimmering slab of pop-rock that swerves into post-punk territory at times, the ethereal video as as trippy as it is nostalgic, the band donning angel wings for a tea party in the woods.
Check out the new video for ‘Plucked’ below.
Speaking about ‘Plucked’ and what it signifies for them, the band have shared:
“‘Plucked’ is an entry to a new era. It’s focused on freedom of expression & learning how to embrace your quirks. It’s ultimately just a little pop-rock banger.
“It’s super fun to play – we’re excited to play it live in future shows!”
After their U.S. headline tour, Destroy Boys will be concluding the summer with a run of European festivals, including Reading & Leeds.
No doubt they’ll be bringing their head massager, crocs and incense with them – among the many items they deem essential for touring.
