On International Women’s Day, Delilah Bon has dropped timely new single ‘Maverick’.
The new track celebrates identity and self-esteem and serves as a sneak peek into the nu-metal brat-punk artist’s upcoming second album, which is reportedly set to land later this year.
It arrives with a new video that’s set to drop at 7pm this evening (Friday, March 08) – until then, listen to the track below.
Discussing the new track and its message, which strikes a chord with the International Women’s Day it’s landed on, Delilah Bon has shared:
“‘Maverick’ is a song about self worth and reclaiming your confidence, reminding yourself that you belong in the rooms you don’t always feel welcomed in.
“It’s about looking [at] yourself in the mirror and believing in your power without needing the approval of others.”
This summer will see Delilah Bon proving that she does indeed have plenty of self-confidence, with the artist set to take to the stage at Download Festival 2024 on Sunday, June 16, 2000Trees and The Great Escape.
