According to TMZ, Efron was recently involved in a swimming incident in a villa in Spain, where he is currently on vacation.
It is unclear if the actor was unconscious when he was found by two staff members at the villa, but he was rushed to the hospital as a “precautionary measure.”
From all indications, the incident was minor, as the “High School Musical” star was released hours after arriving at the hospital.
Per the outlet, Efron is now “recovering just fine,” although no further details were shared about how the incident occurred.
The actor has had multiple hospital visits in the past for various ailments. In 2019, he was hospitalized in Papua New Guinea after contracting a bacterial infection while filming his show “Killing Zac Efron.”

Zac Efron Was Recently Spotted With Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky In Mykonos
Efron is currently in Spain on what seems to be an extended vacation across Europe and has visited destinations like Paris and Mykonos.
During his Mykonos visit, Zac Efron spent five days with his friend, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky. According to the Greek City Times, the duo chose a secluded villa to keep the paparazzi at bay despite the multitude of luxurious accommodations available.
However, their desire for privacy didn’t stop them from enjoying the nightlife. On the last day of Efron’s stay, they visited Lio Mykonos, one of the famous nightclubs on the island.

At the venue, the actor maintained a low profile by wearing a hat and sunglasses, even though the club already had dim lighting to help shield him from recognition. But before leaving, he posed with some of the dancers for a picture and also shared one with a renowned PR representative.
Later that night, he attended a private villa party where attendees were prohibited from taking photos and videos.

The Actor Also Visited Ibiza As Part Of His European Vacation
After leaving Mykonos, Efron headed to Ibiza to continue with his fun with some of his guy friends. He was soon spotted enjoying a yacht ride while bare-chested like the other men on the vessel.
His buff physique was on full display, with his lower torso covered by gray shorts. The actor also wore a green baseball hat and sunglasses to shield him from the gleaming sun. Later, he put on a polo when the yacht docked for everyone to go to dinner.
According to reports, during one of his nights in Ibiza, Efron also joined renowned DJ and record producer Martin Garrix on stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza, much to the delight of the crowd.
A video from one of the attendees showed Efron and Garrix raving wildly to the music, with the crowd below matching their energy and vibe.

Before he began his vacation, Efron spent time promoting his romantic comedy film, “A Family Affair,” which is currently available on Netflix.
The actor shared the screen with Nicole Kidman, whom he previously starred with in “The Paperboy.”
Although over a decade has passed since their first work together, Efron claimed in a promotional interview that he was “still so enamored with Nicole.”
The actor told People magazine, “There’s a part of me that pinches myself when I realize who I’m working with a lot. I think that was more pronounced during The Paperboy because I was a lot younger. I was very nervous back then.”

Kidman, who joined Efron in the interview, shared that their past experience helped with having to play intimate scenes.
“It’s really helpful when you’re doing this sort of work together that you’ve already got a history together, because it’s easy,” Kidman revealed.
The Oscar-winning actress added, “You’re not working to create history. So I’m not like, ‘Can I touch you?’ I feel incredibly trusting of Zac.”
