Florida-based YouTuber Jimmy’s World says he partially regrets buying Elvis Presley’s private jet for hundreds of thousands of dollars back in 2022.
Jimmy’s World uploaded a video on January 27, 2023, revealing that he had purchased a 1962 Lockheed JetStar plane formerly owned by Elvis Presley.
He quickly went viral with the purchase, but revealed that he had to make some pretty major changes to the plane in order for anyone to enjoy it. Since then, Jimmy has removed the wings and tail to turn it into an RV, selling pieces of them to fans in the process.
In a video on March 24, 2025, Jimmy explained that he regrets some of the decisions made regarding the plane – including the massive purchase price.

“Do I regret paying $234,000 for this abandoned jet?” he asked. “Yeah, that was a really bad choice.”
The plane was auctioned off back in 2022, and Elvis’s ex-wife Priscilla was standing beside the auctioneer as it was being sold. According to Jimmy, not meeting her in person is another regret he has surrounding the massive jet purchase.
“She was standing less than eight feet from me and I probably could have said hi, but I didn’t… and I do regret that. Maybe someday I’ll get to meet her.”
Jimmy realized he couldn’t use the wings in his plan to turn it into an RV, so as a way to recoup the cost of the plane – he began cutting them up into tokens that are sold on his website.
In the video, he mentioned that he regrets how they were removed and cut up – adding there may have been some “OHSA violations” that took place while doing so.
Despite his regrets, the YouTuber still loves taking it around the country for fans of the musician to check out and enjoy.
