YouTuber builds massive real-life Minecraft set complete with Technoblade tribute

A YouTuber by the name of ‘Socks’ created a real-life version of Minecraft in his backyard – complete with a robot dog and a reference to Technoblade.

With over 1.4M subscribers on YouTube, Socks has built a notable following on his channel with just 34 total videos.

Many of them are Shorts where he shows off what he’s doing IRL, as he’s only uploaded six long-form videos over the nearly three years since he made the channel.

In his latest video on April 20, Socks revealed the massive Minecraft set he built in his back yard that came complete with a robot dog, creepers and more.

“I got a little bit bored, so I decided to make Minecraft, but in real life,” he said to start the video.

Friends of the YouTuber were left shocked at the build, but were even more excited when a robot dog dressed up as one from the game walked right up to them.

Socks and his team built life-size versions of their favorite things from the beloved sandbox game, including a well that holds water, a working bell, a farm with other animals and more.

They battled against each other in various games inside the Minecraft village, too. Socks put together a scavenger hunt, a crafting challenge, and a “find the creeper” game.

On top of everything else, Sock’s version of a pig is wearing a crown in reference to popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade.

This isn’t the first massive reference to Technoblade that’s happened over the last few weeks, either. With the launch of the Minecraft movie, fans discovered a reference to the YouTuber in the form of a pig with a crown that walked across the screen.

Technoblade’s Minecraft in-game character design was a pig wearing a royal crown, so it’s common to see the references made in various videos.

The YouTuber died back in July 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
