Yaslen Clemente, a fitness influencer and expert with her own wellness program, is all about keeping her workouts fun and effective. Recently, she took her boyfriend, Roynier Benitez, to a Pilates class and shared the experience on Instagram. In her post, she playfully captioned, “Forced @rbnfitness_ to take a @form50fitness class with me & he LOVED it ðŸ¤ðŸ’•” Clemente’s commitment to fitness shines through in every aspect of her routine, from group classes to weightlifting.
As you can see from her post, Clemente likes to take fitness classes. ACE Fitness states that group classes can be very beneficial. “One of the main reasons people are drawn to group fitness is the expert guidance they receive from certified instructors. An exceptional group fitness instructor is proficient in the art of creating enjoyable movement experiences that keep participants committed to their health and wellness journeys. There’s no guesswork when it comes to how to structure your workout session— the GFI has done the work for you.”
As you can also see from her post, one thing Clemente does to stay in shape is Pilates. ACE Fitness says that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates can boost your overall fitness. A small study in people who were overweight or obese, published February 2019 in PeerJ, found that three one-hour Pilates sessions per week helped participants improve lean and fat mass, trunk endurance, and flexibility.”
Clemente makes sure to stay hydrated. She revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that she fills a gallon jug of water each day. Harvard Health states that staying hydrated has a lot of benefits. “Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.”
Clemente doesn’t skip leg day. She shares a lot of her favorite lower body workouts on Instagram. In this post, she is seen doing squats, leg lifts, and using the leg press machine. Piedmont reports that lower body workouts have a lot of benefits. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups. Improve your balance. Strengthen your bones.”
In the previous Instagram post, Clemente is seen lifting weights. She also shared this video on Instagram of herself using weights. ACE Fitness states that lifting and using weights has a lot of benefits. “Using maximal loads for compound (multi-joint) movements like the deadlift, squat-to-shoulder press, bent-over row or chest press can improve intermuscular coordination, which is the ability of many muscles to work together to generate and control high levels of force through multiple joints.”
