It appears Logan Paul has won over WWE fans.
The YouTuber-turned-wrestler completed his first one-on-one match at SummerSlam 2022. The event went down at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday, nearly four months after Paul made his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38. During his initial appearance, Paul joined forces with The Miz to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio; however, this week’s match saw him going head-to-head with his former teammate.
The 27-year-old entered the ring to the sound of boos, which quickly turned into raucous cheers as he deftly executed a series of crowd-pleasing stunts. We’re talking a figure four leg-lock, the It-Kicks, a Phenomenal Forearm, and an insane frog splash from the top rope to the announce table. Paul ultimately secured the win by using the Miz’s signature finisher, the Skull Crushing Finale
Paul announced last month he had signed a WWE contract, which will reportedly run into 2023.
“I just signed my WWE contract. It is a big deal but after all, it is my contract,” he said in June. “… Coming for you, Miz.”
