“How to get Your Car Unstuck from Snow,” the creator behind AK’s Outdoor Gear and Reviews (@AKOGR) captioned a clip.

“The Easy Way.”

The video featured the YouTuber all bundled up in layered clothing in winter snow, kneeling behind the back tire of a vehicle.

“Today I’m going to show you one of the easiest ways to get a car unstuck from the snow,” the adventurer stated.

“To use this method you’re going to need two things. One is gonna be a shovel the second is some carpet remnants.”

He said that carpet remnants are just leftover pieces from carpet cutting.

Drivers could even use some left after some carpet is installed in their homes and not have to spend a dime.

“One of the first things you want to do is you want to take your shovel and try and get snow away from the tires as much as possible,” the YouTube creator advised.

“Then you also want to take your shovel and kind of clear a path away from the tire towards the direction you want to head the car.”

The man explained that if your plan is to drive the car forward, dig in front of the tire.

“If you want to head it backwards, dig behind the tire,” he added.

“The next thing you’re going to want to do is you want to want to take your carpet and then whichever direction you’re trying to head the car, you want to put the carpet.”

You must put the carpet pieces on top of the area you just shoveled snow from – either in front or behind your car wheels.

“This is the point where you might want to have some other people help you,” he admitted.

“You might need to have people push or push from whichever direction you’re trying to go away from. But now that you have the carpet under here you want to drive out over it.”

The gentleman hopped in his car and turned the engine on once he had a piece of carpet tucked under the back tires of his vehicle.

The wheels were able to get some traction and allow him to drive out of the snow he was stuck in.

“This method works fantastic,” the creator emphasized after driving his car out of the snow.

“In fact, just the other day we had a lot of snow here and the mail truck got stuck as well as another vehicle and we were able to get them both out using carpet remnants.”

The outdoorsman added: “This is one of the more easy and cheap ways of getting your car unstuck from the snow. Works fantastic works amazingly well and I would highly recommend it to you guys.
