AFTER finding fame with Chase and Status, Tom Grennan is now one of the top singers in the UK.
He has forged his own chart success with his first album becoming one of the best-selling debut albums of 2018.
Who is Tom Grennan?
Born in Bedford on June 8, 1995, Tom Grennan started singing at gigs in London at 18 years old.
But his big break came when featured on Chase and Status’s 2016 single All Goes Wrong.
His friends encouraged him to pursue a music career after seeing him performing The Kooks at a house party.
In his early music years, he was scouted at a Finsbury pub and offered a record deal with Insanity Records.
Following his success, Grennan was shortlisted for the MTV Brand New Award, performing at MTV Showcase at the London Electric Ballroom in 2017.
The singer – who has performed with Charlie XCX and Bugzy Malone – also has a strong sports connection.
Having trained to be a professional footballer as a teenager, he played for Luton Town.
Tom has also taken part in Soccer Aid since 2021, and is back for 2023.

‘Little Bit of Love’ was nominated for best song at the 2022 Brit awards, and Grennan was also nominated for Best Rock/ Alternative Act.
His success continued when he collaborated with Ella Henderson on the release of Lets Go Home Together which also reached the top 10.
He presented Radio 1’s Future Sounds Show 2021 alongside Olly Alexander, YUNGBLUD, Charli XCX and Arlo Parks.
And he performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Coventry in May 2022.
Grennan is set to release his third album What Ifs & Maybes in the second quarter of 2023.
This will be supported by a UK arena tour beginning in March 2023 which kicks off at the O2 arena in London.
