Eduardo Franco is an American actor born on August 29, 1994, in Yuma, Arizona, to Mexican parents.
Eduardo began his acting career in 2015 when he appeared in the TV series Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything and Adam Ruins Everything.
In 2017, Eduardo landed a recurring role as Spencer Diaz in the Netflix series American Vandal.
The following year, in 2018, the Arizona native landed his first movie role as Jeremy Abelar in The Package.

He also appeared in the BAFTA-nominated film Booksmart alongside Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein.
However, Eduardo rose to prominence as Argyle in season four of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
Is Eduardo Franco returning to Stranger Things?
In an interview on the Steve Varley Show, Eduardo confirmed he was not returning to season five of Stranger Things.
Talks over Eduardo’s fate on the show began to circulate after a cast photo was released and Eduardo wasn’t among his former cast members.

Speaking with Steve, Eduardo said: “I never got a phone call. I think eh, I think that’s it.”
Eduardo’s character brought the show comic relief through its dark overtones and quickly became a fan favorite.
His absence from the cast photo brought concern to his fans. Eduardo shared that it’s “nice” to see the impact Argyle has had.
The Stranger Things actor said: “It’s nice to hear that there’s some sort of concern or something.”

While Eduardo is known for his role on Stranger Things, the rising actor has been creating buzz around his newest role.
In 2024, Eduardo starred in Jake Johnson’s Hulu film, Self Reliance alongside the New Girl actor, Anna Kendrick, Andy Samberg, and Christopher Lloyd.
This isn’t the first time Eduardo has worked with Hulu as he was the lead on the 2020 film, The Binge.
Eduardo has also lent his voice as DJ Catnip in the children’s series Gabby’s Dollhouse since 2021.
