HELEN Skelton has enjoyed an incredible career so far in her life.
Not only is she known for appearing on Strictly, she has also hosted some top shows including Blue Peter and Countryfile.
Who is Helen Skelton?
Helen Skelton was born on July 19, 1983, in Carlisle, Cumbria.
She grew up on a dairy farm in the village of Kirkby Thore before getting a BA in journalism from the Cumbria Institute of the Arts.
She is a TV presenter but began her career as an extra on Coronation Street and Cutting It, and is also a qualified tap dance teacher.
In 2022 Helen was seen on the dancefloor on Strictly Come Dancing, where she was partnered with Gorka Marquez.

Helen is best known for presenting children’s programmes Newsround and Blue Peter.
In 2008, she replaced Zoe Salmon on Blue Peter becoming the 33rd presenter for the programme.
She announced her departure from the show in August 2013 and was replaced by Radzi Chinyanganya.
After she left the children’s magazine programme, she became a presenter of live FA Women’s Super League football matches for the BT Sport channel.
She also presented two series of Holiday Hit Squad (2013-2014) and the London Marathon Highlights (2014-2015) show on the BBC.
In 2012, the star took part in a Christmas special edition of Strictly Come Dancing.
Since 2015, she has co-presented the daytime BBC One series The Instant Gardener alongside Danny Clarke.
Skelton hosted coverage of the 2016 European Swimming Championships and worked for the BBC at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
In October that year, Skelton guest presented five editions of Lorraine on ITV.
In 2018, she appeared in Celebrity Antiques Road Trip with her ex co-presenter Rebecca Adlington.
Helen has also been a presenter on Countryfile and reported on rugby for Channel 4.
In July 2022, Helen landed the job of Radio 5 Live presenter following the departure of Laura Whitmore.
Since September 2022, Helen has been appearing on Strictly.
Is Helen Skelton married and does she have children?
Helen married England national rugby league team player Richie Myler in 2013.
Two years later, in June 2015, they had their first child together.
That same year, the couple moved to France for a year when Richie joined the Catalans Dragons.
They welcomed their second son in April 2017, and their first daughter in December 2021.
In April 2022 the couple revealed they had split up.
