Who is Andrew Jacked?

Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, better known as Andrew Jacked, is a Nigerian IFBB Pro League professional bodybuilder, trainer and fitness influencer.

He was thrust into the mainstream in 2019 as the training partner of American fitness influencer and powerlifter, Larry ‘Wheels’ Williams.

Fans noted Andrew’s impressive physique and feats of strength during his training with Williams, and he was subsequently urged to enroll in his first bodybuilding show at the age of 34.

The star hit the ground running, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram and arousing the attention of fellow fitness enthusiasts.

Andrew competed in the inaugural EBBF Ajmaan Bodybuilding and Physique Contest in the UAE where he scooped the top prize – bagging his IFBB Elite pro card at his very first bodybuilding show.

Why is Andrew Jacked not competing at the Arnold Classic?

Andrew announced Tuesday that he would not feature in the Arnold Classic.

The competition is a multi-sport event consisting of professional bodybuilding, strongman, fitness, figure and bikini weekend expo named after famed bodybuilder, actor and former politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The 2024 Arnold Classic first contest is slated for the weekend of March 1-three, 2024, in Columbus, OH.

The UK event is set for two weekends later, on March 15-17, 2024, in Birmingham, UK.

Andrew made the announcement via an Instagram post.

In the message, Jacked cited “so many things happening at the same time from multiple factors” for his absence.

He did not disclose what those factors were, and he made the post unavailable to receive comments.

Jacked shared on a follow-up Instagram story that his health was “awesome” but that he needed an off-season and to rest.

Which bodybuilding competitions has Andrew Jacked won?

Andrew Jacked has already guaranteed a hall-of-fame career after a cluster of esteemed competition wins.

Andrew took home the top prize at the 2021 EBBF Ajman Bodybuilding and Physique Contest as well as first place in the IFBB Elite Pro League Show the same year.

In 2022, the star ranked first in the Arnold Classic Amateur, the Texas Pro and the Arnold Classic UK.

Andrew Jacked follows a training regime that focuses on isolating each and every muscle group for complete all-round development.

Over the last one year, he has posted many workout videos across social media, giving a glimpse into his gruelling behind-the-scenes regime.

While the bodybuilder is likely to mix up his routine, he focuses on isolating the shoulders and biceps, chest and triceps and his back.

What is Andrew Jacked’s diet plan?

Andrew opened up about his diet routine in an appearance on 8-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman’s podcast on his YouTube channel.

“My stomach is so small and sensitive and I have a high level of allergies, especially to food, he revealed.

“I barely can eat six square meals. I just eat four meals and one shake.”

During the off-season, Andrew starts his day with a portion of oats and eggs.

Andrew will also chow down on a plate of chicken, rice and broccoli.

The Nigerian adds in a shake to hit his daily protein requirement.
