Carrie Louise Hamilton
Carol Burnett and television producer Joe Hamilton welcomed their first daughter in New York City on December 5, 1963.
Carrie Hamilton soon followed in her mother’s footsteps and stepped into the world of acting.
Carrie struggled with substance abuse during her teenage years and went through three rehab stints before getting sober, per People.
She reflected on her struggles with addiction in an interview with People in 1979, when she was only 15 years old.

The actress went on to star in TV shows like Fame, as well as the films Tokyo Pop and Shag.

She and her mother co-wrote Hollywood Arms, which is a play based on Burnett’s 1986 memoir, One More Time.
Sadly, Carrie was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2001 and died of cancer-related pneumonia the following year.

Burnett and Hamilton’s youngest daughter, Erin Hamilton, was born in Los Angeles on August 14, 1968.
In 1993, Erin was named Miss Golden Globe and handed trophies to winners of that year’s Golden Globe ceremony.
Erin pursued music and became a professional singer. She released a solo album entitled One World in 1999.
She opened for the likes of Whitney Houston and Bette Midler, according to People.
Although she has not released music since, Erin is best known for her 1998 cover of Dreamweaver.
In 1995, Erin married musician Trae Carlson, with whom she shares one son, Zachary, before divorcing in 1998.
