Whitney maintains variety with exercise. Sweat Yoga, Soul Cycle, and pilates reformer classes are a few of the ways she sweats, she told Self. She also takes classes virtually. “I have been doing a lot of Sculpt, Cardio Boxing and Yoga Classes on the obé Fitness App and virtual classes with Pilates By Amanda. If I don’t have a lot of time, I will do Lauren Gores’ express workouts on her Instagram. Next week, I am starting Megan Roup’s The Sculpt Society which I am really excited about. AND I am dying to try The Class by Taryn Toomey,” she added to E! Online.

Whitney is a big fan of morning meals.. “Every morning is different,” she said about her approach to breakfast. “[One day] it’s cereal, another is banana and bread with melted cheese on it. Sometimes I’ll have yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, so it really varies.”

Whitney keeps her lunches light. “If I eat something super heavy, I just get really tired and feel like I need a nap after,” she told StyleCaster. “Usually, I’ll have just a salad, and it varies with different proteins. My favorite kind is just mixed greens with grilled chicken and some beets and goat cheese with a vinaigrette. My favorite thing to eat is anything Mediterranean, like a Greek salad with grilled chicken and rice. That’s an ideal lunch for me.”

Whitney is all about healthy snacking. “I think finding healthy snacks is a really hard thing to do when you’re traveling. Just try to be prepared and pack your own,” she told StyleCaster. She also loves sourdough toast with peanut butter, “Or I have those Perfect peanut butter bars that are really good for on the go… they’re really delicious.”

Whitney tries to maintain balance when it comes to health and fitness routine. “I try to work out three times a week and eat mostly lean proteins, veggies, and fruits but, I also allow myself to enjoy myself when I feel like it!” she explained to Hollywood Life. “I don’t believe in strict diets or limitations. It’s all about a healthy balance.”

Whitney prefers low-impact workouts. “I don’t feel as motivated to do intense cardio when I’m at home and I think that’s okay. These days, I’m definitely getting up and going outside for a walk. I love hitting the walking path in my neighborhood. The feeling of getting outside, turning off my phone, looking around and observing what’s happening around me. This pushes me to be mindful and present,” she told Shape. “Outside of walks, my workouts are a mix of yoga and Pilates. I’m loving Melissa Wood Health’s classes right now and try to do them outside when I can to get extra vitamin D. I’m also never sitting longer than twenty minutes, I’m either running after [my son] Sonny or walking.”

Whitney prioritizes getting enough rest. “Sleep is also crucial,” she told Shape. “I had to figure out what kind of sleep I needed and the best way to get it. It’s the foundation for feeling good. As a young mom, I had to figure out how to function without it but I also had a responsibility to figure out how to get it so I can really show up. For me, moving my phone to a different room an hour or two before bed, sipping an herbal tea and being mindful of what I watch on TV before bed makes a huge difference.”

Whitney also gets her zen on, telling Shape “meditation works well when I do it long-term, that’s when I see the benefits. I consider it a muscle that I’m continuously working out. When I practice regularly, I feel so much more centered.”
