When We Were Young Festival Announce Series Of Special Side Shows - News

When We Were Young gets even bigger.

Remember at the start of 2022 when When We Were Young Festival absolutely decimated the Internet with the announcement of their line-up?

Well, the event is fast approaching, and they have revealed a few more special events taking place over the two weekends that the main events will be happening.

SO, here we go.

On October 21, the day before the first festival, three different shows will be happening.

First up is A Day To Remember with support from The Used, Movements and Magnolia Park at the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort.

Then at Brooklyn Bowl, Story Of The Year, Sleeping With Sirens and The Summer Set will be playing alongside Strange 90’s. And Strange 90’s are a special supergroup made up of revolving members of Goldfinger, Bowling For Soup, Anberlin, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Early November and more who will be covering 90’s classics.
 

And then at the House of Blues, there’s going to be an Indie Rock Dance Party courtesy of Electric Feels.

Then on October 22, there’s going to be an after-show party at Brooklyn Bowl thanks to Emo Night Brooklyn with Bayside’s Anthony Raneri and Silverstein’s Shane Told making appearances.

October 23, The Maine and Mayday Parade will be joining forces for a late after-show at the House of Blues
 

And October 28, Emo Night Brooklyn will be back again at Brooklyn Bowl with Senses Fail’s Buddy Nielsen.
