SOME eagle-eyed Wheel of Fortune fans are questioning whether Pat Sajak dropped a major puzzle hint to a contestant.

The side comment became the topic of debate after Lavonda’s incredible bonus round win worth a brand-new BMW.

Lavonda from University Park, Illinois, professed her love of travel at the top of Friday’s show before jet-setting to the highest score.

With $17,000 and a trip to Scotland, she proceeded to the glitzy bonus round.

She chose “Phrase” as her category for the special one-player segment, joined off-stage by her husband.

In addition to the provided RSTLNE, she chose an “H,P,K,A,” and “W” as she had a Wildcard wedge.

‘INTERESTING CHOICES’

Pat, 77, known for his impartial stance before the climactic final puzzle is revealed, deviated from the norm.

The soon-to-retire host went off script, remarking, “Interesting choices.”

Vanna White, 66, then revealed the additional letters, unraveling a three-word puzzle reading: “_AKE A W_SE _H _ _ _’.

Right when the 10-second timer started, Lavonda confidently solved the puzzle: “Make a Wise Choice,” leaving her overjoyed and the audience in awe.

Pat announced Lavonda’s win of a new BMW, confessing that the game show had been attempting to give away the luxurious car “for four nights.”

‘DID PAT GIVE IT AWAY?’

Some Wheel of Fortune fans couldn’t help but connect the dots between Pat’s remark about “choices” and the completed puzzle.

One intrigued fan on YouTube questioned, “Did Pat give away the BONUS puzzle with ‘interesting choices’?…”

However, another viewer argued, “She made very nice letter selections in the Bonus Round.”

Other users also agreed Pat was simply commenting on her letter picks – which still could have subconsciously pointed her toward the puzzle.

‘IS WHEEL OF FORTUNE SCAMMING US?’

Meanwhile, other internet users pointed out another dubious aspect of the win.

They spotted it’s near-impossible that the prize wedge landed on the BMW all week, or five nights in a row.

One X user wrote: “I asked ChatGPT the odds of a contestant landing on the car in the bonus round on @WheelofFortune 5 nights in a row. It calculated the odds at 1:35,714,286.”

Another fan agreed this was the most dubious aspect of the win: “OK is Wheel of Fortune scamming us? How are they spinning the BMW 5 nights in a row?”

A third claimed: 5 nights in a row the prize landed on for the final puzzle has been a car, specifically a BMW.

“The final wheel has 24 prizes. If we assume one card contains the car, the odds of hitting that spot 5 times in a row is 1/7.96 million. Those odds are astronomically bad.

“Wheel of Fortune must, for some reason, have to give away the car by a certain date.”

“You need to have 21 out of 24 cards be the car before you even make 50/50 odds. SOMETHING IS UP!”

‘ONLY SO MANY WORDS…’

The soon-to-retire Pat is saying just what’s on his mind as his sendoff season is well underway.

Last month, the host gave it to the contestants after each made an incorrect guess on a puzzle.

Vince incorrectly solved it as “And The Crowd Went Wild.” Then, Lissa incorrectly solved it as “And The Crowd Grew Wild.”

It came back around to Vince, who correctly picked an “L” and finally got it as “And The Crowd Goes Wild.”

“Yeah, that’s it,” Pat declared, as the in-studio audience did just that.

Pat went over to Vince as it was time to dismiss him, he snarked: “You were bound to get there eventually.

There are only so many words in the English language.”

Vince sheepishly lowered his head, taking the insult on the chin.

“Aw!” another contestant could be heard yelling off-screen as the audience nervously laughed.

One fan wrote on X: “’You were bound to get it eventually, only so many words in the English language.’ Pat Sajak cooked him. COOKED.”

Another wrote: “Pat Sajak is tired of the s**t. Retire early bud!”

Pat is retiring at the end of the now-airing season in June 2024 to make way for Ryan Seacrest, who will begin hosting next fall.
