An incredibly clear photo of what appears to be a flying saucer-like UFO was snapped by a semi-professional photographer in Mexico who claims the picture is legit. The image was reportedly taken at Bochil Hill in the state of Chiapas while the photographer was there conducting an unrelated photo shoot.

The photographer of the alleged UFO, Sammy Robles, explained to Plano Informativo that he was in Chiapas for a photo shoot he was doing at a sports complex when one of the models pointed out the UFO in the sky. The model initially thought it was an airplane, but the object wasn’t moving.

He says he took a photo of the UFO then continued on with the photo shoot. The image, which can be viewed here, has since gone viral on Mexican social media, generating more than 1,600 comments.

“We felt very confused and a little scared, so we decided to ignore it and continue with the session,” he said. “After the session, the thing was gone.”

Robles swears he doesn’t know how to use Photoshop or perform digital editing. Despite his claim, many skeptics doubt the photo’s authenticity, citing the lighting and the lack of blurring due to movement.

According to Quinta Fuerza, several people including the media outlet El Heraldo de Mexico have utilized artificial intelligence tools to analyze the image to try and determine if the photo has been altered.

One artificial intelligence tool reported that after its analysis, there is a 47.83% probability that the UFO photo was created by artificial or digitally edited intelligence. However, that means it believes there is a 52.17 percent that it was actually photographed by a human and is legitimate.

El Heraldo de Mexico also reported that the photographer claimed the UFO was seen by several residents of the city who will testify to the UFO sighting’s legitimacy. If that’s true, what exactly was the object that everyone says they saw?
