Vanna White brutally snubs Wheel of Fortune player who tries to connect with her over shared hobby

Nina declared: 'I was in this crotchet internet group that Vanna was in!'

VANNA White has shut down a Wheel of Fortune contestant who swore there was a common thread between them.

The player, Nina Jackson, was “pretty sure” she and the iconic letter-turner used to be in the same crocheting internet group.

At the top of the Wheel of Fortune episode, Pat Sajak, 77, chatted up the contestants, including Nina from Houston, Texas.

Pat probed how, “Like Vanna, you are a crocheting, knitting, kind of person?”

A beaming Nina replied, “Yes! Yes! I am, and when the internet first started, I was in this knitting/crotchet group that Vanna was in.”

“Vanna?” Pat posed as the camera cut to the iconic co-host at the puzzle board.

Vanna, 66, stared in a state of shock and hilariously, blankly replied, “Was I?”

Nina explained, trying to ring a bell, “It was like a message group, so you would just post emails and stuff. I’m pretty sure!”

Vanna cringed at the camera and offered up a giant shrug, implying she had forgotten entirely about joining, or had no clue what the contestant was on about.

Pat quipped, ending the matter, “Maybe she was in a different [chat]room.”

Fans on social media were left cracking up over the awkward yarn and Vanna’s shady reaction.

One X user wrote: “Tonight a contestant on Wheel of Fortune said she was part of an online Crocheting club and Vanna White was also a member, but when the camera panned to Vanna she said ‘I am?’ insinuating Vanna did not know what this woman was talking about.”

Meanwhile, opponent Pam won with the highest score but did not ace the bonus puzzle as “Inquire Within.”

Pat snarked, “It’s much easier [to solve] with all the letters up there.”

Of course, the week’s biggest Wheel moment was Tuesday’s bonus round, with the nation claiming Megan was “robbed” and said the bonus puzzle correctly.

Megan went on GMA to respond to the “Pink Orchid” controversy and let fans know she did not, in fact, say “Pink Orchid.”
