UFOs May Mean ‘Cryptoterrestrials’ Live Among Us

According to scientists from Harvard University and Montana Technological University, there is a 10% chance that some of the UFOs that have been reported being seen over the years were flown by what they refer to as “cryptoterrestrials.”

Among the many theories about aliens and UFOs is that they live in secret bases deep underwater, inside active volcanoes and in Antarctica – all locations where it would be almost impossible for humans to properly investigate and discover them.

This new study, published in the journal Philosophy and Cosmology, takes these theories a step further.

According to author Mac Tonnies in his book The Cryptoterrestrials: A Meditation on Indigenous Humanoids and Aliens Among Us, “at least some accounts of alien visitation can be attributed to a humanoid species indigenous to the Earth, a sister race that has adapted to our numerical superiority by developing a surprisingly robust technology.”

The scientists in this new study also refer to cryptoterrestrials as “a technologically advanced ancient human civilization that was largely destroyed long ago (e.g., by flood), but continued to exist in remnant form.” Those particular entities are referred to by the researchers as “human cryptoterrestrials.”

Three other categories are also addressed in the research paper including homonid or theropod cryptoterrestrials (technologically advanced non-human civilizations that could have evolved from species like dinosaurs), former extraterrestrial or extratempestrial cryptoterrestrials who traveled to Earth and now live among us, and magical cryptoterrestrials like what are commonly referred to as “fairies, elves and nymphs.”

They also reference Albert Einstein’s former assistant Dr. Shirley Wright who claimed on audio tapes in 1993 that she and Einstein were invited to inspect bodies from the Roswell UFO crash. On those tapes, Wright claimed they were “just humans, but an advanced form” who “reside underground on our planet.”

The study’s authors also referred to another popular theory that these entities may also have a base on the moon, whistleblower David Grusch, and UFO journalist Jaime Maussan.

Their hypothesis is that it is these cryptoterrestrials may actually be responsible for many of the UFO sightings that have been attributed to aliens.

Based on their study and the evidence gathered to conduct it, they place the chances of some form of cryptoterrestrials living among the human race at 1 in 10.

“All four CTHs [cryptoterrestrial” hypotheses] are far-fetched on their face; we entertain them here because some aspects of UAP [Unidentified aerial Phenomena, or UFOs] are strange enough that they seem to call for unconventional explanations. Most investigations of UAP to date have focused on the ETH [extraterrestrial hypotheses], which does have several lines of evidence in its favor,” the study’s authors wrote.

“Nonetheless, the ETH does not exhaust the possible accounts of UAP. Given how little is known about these strange phenomena, it seems prudent to keep every line of inquiry – including the various CTHs – in play.

“Indeed, this is a fitting summary of the CTH: it may be exceedingly improbable, but hopefully this paper has shown it should nevertheless be kept on the table as we seek to understand the ongoing empirical mystery of UAP.”
