A new item has surfaced at auction: a signed Trey Anastasio acoustic poster from the musician’s April 4, 2025, concert at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Adorning the graphic are the signatures of the former artist and NHL favorite Alex Ovechkin. The poster is available for bid on fandiem.com. Proceeds will benefit the Divided Sky Foundation

The commemorative item represents a Washington, D.C., overlap, as Phish guitarist added a stop to his solo acoustic tour in the District, and Ovechkin scored his 894th career goal to tie Wayne Gretzky’s all-time NHL record at the neighboring Capital One Arena. The historic sports moment occurred during the Washington Capitals’ face-off against the Chicago Blackhawks, resulting in a 5-3 win.

To mark the accolade, Ovechkin made a special note of the achievement via the poster, adding the historic goal count, “894,” next to his signature, and personalizing it with “To Trey” and the date: “4.4.25.” The poster, designed by Mike Tallman and Add Noise Studios, was brought to Anastasio, who added his own Hancock, and ultimately donated the item to gain financial support for the Divided Sky Foundation.

The Divided Sky Foundation is “a nonprofit organization that offers an affordable next step in the recovery process for those ready to address their addiction.” Donate and learn more here.
