Ed Kelce, the social media-savvy father of America’s most beloved brothers, Jason and Travis, says he’s banned from X (formerly Twitter).

In a Facebook post, Ed shared an article alleging that arms dealers in Yemen are selling weapons on X and conducting business in Sanaa, a city controlled by the Houthis.

However, his main gripe seems to be getting locked out of his X account.

“Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation,” he wrote alongside the post.

The following day, Papa Kelce explained that he shared that story about X out of frustration with the platform’s policies.

“Let me try and clear something up here,” Ed wrote in a lengthy Facebook post.

“I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles mentioning the boys and remotely post them to Facebook for friends and family to see.”

Papa Kelce goes on to give his reasoning for posting the seemingly out of nowhere arms dealer article.

“I posted the thing about arms dealers active on X because frankly, I was pissed at Elon’s trolls,” he explained.

Papa Kelce claims he was only on X to follow his boy’s exploits.

“I rarely wrote anything on X; I just followed sports reporters. It’s handy during games to hear what those guys have to say, particularly at stadiums where you don’ have commentators the way you do watching on TV,” he explained.

However, Papa Kelce was left scratching his head after he was suddenly banned.

“I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading others’ posts. Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules in May or June 2023,” he recalled. “Never happened. I’m guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn’t all that secure.”

Travis and Jason’s father ended his rant about his X ban in a manner befitting of Kelce family antics.

“My comments when I started this conversation were merely to highlight the hypocrisy of these social media turds,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk purchased Twitter in part to make it a stronghold for free speech. It seems out of step for Ed to get banned for life for a policy violation on a platform that literally allows things like hardcore adult material and political rhetoric that would make your drunk uncle blush. A guy who is only one degree of separation from the almighty Taylor Swift getting booted from X seems like a stretch.

The plot thickens…
