Travis Kelce Splurged $75k On Luxury Italian Gifts For Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce reportedly went on a shopping spree in Milan during his girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour, buying luxury items from Valentino, Prada, and more.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is said to have spared no expense in purchasing over 14 designer gifts for the Grammy Award-winning singer.

Travis Kelce’s romantic gesture to Taylor Swift came after he called her his “lady” and declared that he was “proud” of their highly publicized relationship.

During Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Milan last weekend, Kele reportedly treated her to an extravagant shopping spree to make sure his beau left with some high-end fashion items.

According to The Sun, the Kansas City Chiefs star splurged nearly $75,000 on 14 luxury pieces from Valentino, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi.

Kelce, who wasn’t able to attend the shows because he was participating in a golf tournament with his brother Jason, still found a way to celebrate Swift’s Milan visit.

He reportedly bought her a variety of gifts, including dresses and shoes. A source told the news outlet, “Travis knows Taylor loves these brands. He wants her to have a true Italian touch in her wardrobe. Travis loves Valentino, both for him and Taylor.”

Among the lavish gifts were a $3,300 handbag, a $9,200 sleeveless Prada dress, and a $4,400 mini-dress.

“This Euro part of her tour is turning into an exceptional experience because Travis is supporting and showing her love 24/7,” an insider told the news outlet. “Their time spent in Milan was a unique experience for Taylor, as Travis showed just how much he loves to gift her meaningful presents.”

In an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, Kelce opened up about dating one of the world’s most famous singers, shedding light on their whirlwind romance.

Kelce expressed pride in his relationship with Taylor Swift and referred to her as his “lady,” stating: “You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, that’s my lady, and I’m proud of that.”

He emphasized the difference between maintaining privacy and not shying away from their relationship.

“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘how can I keep this under wraps?'” Kelce said. “You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, the Superbowl champion admitted that he was shocked by the amount of interest and scrutiny that came with dating Swift. However, he shared that she manages to keep things grounded with him even as she’s a global superstar.

“She’s very self-aware,” he shared. “She understands situations like that and I think that’s why I really started to fall for her, how genuine she is just around friends and family.”

“It can get crazy for someone with that much attention, but she keeps it so chill and so cool, and I admire that for sure,” he added.

Recently, Swift and Kelce were spotted together in Germany, and the football star was seen attending the singer’s first performance at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena last week.

However, the tight end is expected to return to Kansas City soon. The Chiefs are gearing up for the new NFL season, which kicks off on September 5 with a high-profile rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

For Kelce, he will also earn $17 million annually, suggesting he plans to continue playing until he is 36, despite previously hinting at a potential early retirement.

Meanwhile, Swift will continue her European tour for another month, with upcoming performances in Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw, and Vienna. She will conclude the European leg of her tour with five shows at Wembley in London.

Following a vacation in the Bahamas with Swift, Kelce is reportedly channeling his interest in business into the hotel and resort industry by investing in Caribbean properties. He also aims to become an influential figure in high-profile resorts.

Sources told the US Sun that Kelce is “a dynamic guy that wants to invest in things that he loves, and where he thinks that he will make very good business.”

The insider added: “He has been talking for many months now that hotels and resorts are a target for him, and there have been talks with many groups in the recent weeks to have him get on board as a shareholder. And even an ambassador for some groups that have hotels and resorts all over the world, like many beach places like the Bahamas, Thailand, some Greek Islands, and Barbados for example.”

Kelce’s role as an ambassador for an international hotel chain is expected to earn him $2 million, along with shares in the franchise. This move is part of his larger investment strategy, with a projected total expenditure of around $4 million.
