NFL stars and brothers Travis and Jason Kelce have inked a massive new deal that brings their popular New Heights podcast to Wondery.
According to reports, the former Philadelphia Eagles center and current Kansas City Chiefs tight end have signed a three-year, $100 million deal with the podcast company Wondery, which Amazon owns.
As per the deal, Wondery now has the “rights to develop, manufacture, license and distribute all merchandise based on New Heights, including new consumer product.”
New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce first launched in 2022 and saw a boom in popularity in 2023 after Travis Kelce began dating pop star Taylor Swift. Kelce used the podcast, in fact, to pursue Swift as he detailed his desire to give her a friendship bracelet when her Eras Tour passed through Kansas City.
“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” the Kelce brothers said in a statement announcing the deal.
“We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights’! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”
Earlier this year, Jason Kelce retired from the NFL while Travis signed a two-year contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs. Both players are bound for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
This season, following his retirement from the NFL, Jason Kelce will take on a role as commentator for ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown pregame show.
As for Travis, he and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls. The Chiefs will kick off the 2024 NFL season with a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5.
