In a candid moment on her “misSpelling” podcast, Spelling confessed to her former “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star Shannen Doherty that Brian Austin Green was her “first love” and that no one else has broken her heart since then.

Recalling a conversation with Green about her divorce from Dean McDermott, Spelling shared that she admitted to Green, “No, I was in love. Maybe I wasn’t in love. I’m not sure. No one’s broken my heart since you.”

She added, “And there was like pause, pause. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is the first time I’ve said it in 30 years.”

Despite their teenage romance, Spelling emphasized that their relationship is now purely platonic, describing Green as a supportive brother and best friend.

“You know how close Brian and I are. I tell him everything,” she explained to Doherty. “We’re brother and sister and best friend so close. We can have that connection.”

Spelling also expressed happiness for him and his fiancée, Sharna Burgess. “It’s been 30 years. We’re just friends. I love his fiancée,” she noted.

During the conversation, Spelling and Doherty reflected on their past, and the mom of five talked about how she learned about Doherty’s brief romance with Green, which occurred later in their careers.

“I did not know until I listened to your podcast that you hooked up with Brian,” she exclaimed.

In response, the “Charmed” actress described the experience as awkward and lacking chemistry. She explained: “We tried something, and we just went, ‘Yeah, this isn’t going to work.’ The kissing didn’t even make sense.”

Despite the revelation, Spelling said she couldn’t picture Green and Doherty kissing, causing Doherty to reply, “I can’t imagine it now, either. That’s why it didn’t go anywhere because it was awkward. It was super awkward.”

“There were no fireworks. We were so close, and we had known each other like we were little kids essentially. I love Brian, he’s one of my favorite humans. But there was no spark,” she added.

The women then joked about their shared experiences with Green: “We’ve shared even more than I thought. We shared Brian’s saliva.”

In the podcast episode, Spelling acknowledged Green’s support as she navigates her divorce.

Recalling her conversation with Green, she shared: “Recently, we were talking about my situation and being in love and being crushed, being hurt, and moving on and now being single and the next chapter in my life. He’s been so great and such a champion. At times he gives me such inspiring words you can do it professionally and personally.”

According to sources who spoke with the DailyMail, Spelling is eager to explore new romantic opportunities after filing for divorce from McDermott.

“Whether it is organic or if she is put on a blind date, Tori wants to find love again. She would also consider a TV show that would be based on getting her a new man,” the insider shared.

They added, “Though her marriage is over, it has been over for a long time. She is ready to open her heart up for another relationship. She feels that she deserves it and would love to experience being happy and in love again. To have that in her next stage of life after everything she has been through would be incredible.”
