According to insiders, Brady is navigating the dynamics of his ex-wife Bundchen’s new relationship with Valente. This comes after Bundchen seemingly confirmed her long-rumored romance with the jiu-jitsu instructor after they were spotted sharing a passionate kiss on Valentine’s Day in Miami.
The insider who spoke to the Daily Mail said, “Tom has been dating and is all about growing from his relationship with Gisele and moving it to a place where they can co-parent.”
The insider also noted that Brady has questions about Bundchen and Valente’s relationship timeline, adding: “If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it.”
As we previously reported, sources close to Brady slammed reports suggesting that Bundchen and Valente started dating in June last year. They claimed the pair’s romance began before her divorce from Brady ended and that the duo have known each other for a long time.
Tom Brady Will Be ‘Able To Adapt’ If Joaquim Valente Becomes A ‘Father Figure To His Kids’
According to the news outlet, Brady holds no animosity towards Valente and is striving to find positivity in the situation. However, he and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor haven’t quite formed a friendship yet.
“Tom and Joaquim are not friends – but Joaquim is around his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and does believe he is a good guy,” a source said. “If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his kids, Tom will be able to adapt.”
The insider noted that the NFL star is experienced in co-parenting from his past relationship with Bridget Moynahan and co-parents their don, John, 16.
“People seem to forget Tom has a lot of practice with all of this from his time with Bridget. They had a child, they moved on and figured it out,” the source continued. “Stuff is working out with him and Gisele and if Joaquim is going to be in her life forever, then he will make it all work for the best of everyone, there is no other option.”
Brady and the Brazilian supermodel divorced in October 2022 and have two children together, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.

Speculation about Bundchen’s relationship with Valente began swirling when they were spotted together in Costa Rica in November 2022, just weeks after her divorce from the NFL legend was finalized.
During that period in Costa Rica, several images of the pair surfaced, with one featuring them enjoying a horseback ride and another showing them paddleboarding.
Insiders at the time consistently downplayed any romantic involvement between Bundchen and Valente.
“The Devil Wears Prada” actress herself even addressed the rumors about their alleged romance in an interview with Vanity Fair last March.
“I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything,” she said, implying that she was still single.

In the Vanity Fair Interview, the supermodel expressed gratitude for Valente and his brothers’ influence on her children, praising their support and friendship.
“I’m so grateful to know all of them because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially,” Bundchen stated. “He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”
Footage obtained by the Daily Mail recently captured Bundchen and Valente in an intimate embrace as they walked through her upscale neighborhood.
Arriving at Valente’s car, the martial arts instructor affectionately wrapped his arm around Bundchen, who held onto her dog’s leash. Bundchen reciprocated by embracing Valente’s neck, sharing several kisses before they parted ways.
