Matt had the video filmed outside NBC Studios, where Al, Hoda, and Jenna, along with other TV personalities, film the daily morning show Today.

The song paid homage to New York’s Rockefeller Center, which is also home to Rockefeller Plaza, the home of NBC studios, hence why the video was shot there.

In came Bowen and the talk show crew toward the end of the almost three-minute-long clip.

Al, Hoda, and Jenna danced happily during their quick cameo.

The music video for RockaFellaCenter was uploaded on YouTube.

In the comment section of the post, fans went wild, many saying how much they loved the video.

“A bop of international proportions!!!,” one fan wrote.

Another added: “I’m so excited and happy to see this music video!!”

LESS THAN JOLLY

It was good that Al was able to have some fun, given that his Christmas will be bittersweet this year.

Al recently posted a clip to his Instagram account of the family Christmas tree set up in his home.

Topped with an angel, the tree was filled with twinkling white lights and colorful ornaments.

It was accessorized with a red tree skirt at the bottom, with a couple of gifts already under the tree.

Al panned the camera up and down while zooming out to show viewers the entirety of the tree.

Elton John’s holiday hit Step Into Christmas played in the background.

But while it was a happy scene, Al’s caption was less than jolly.

“Tonight, we #stepintochristmas but a little bittersweet decorating the tree with no kids at home,” he wrote.

EMPTY NESTERS

Al and wife Deborah are in a similar position to George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth, who are empty nesters this year.

The families have seen their children go off to college or move away in recent months.

Al has been missing his family, which has expanded in the past year with the addition of daughter Courtney Roker Laga’s child Sky.

Fans and followers took to Instagram to try to console Al.

“Yes! It is very bittersweet, but I know they look forward to it when they come home,” one wrote.

“I hear you, too. This year I can’t even get mine up by myself, but I have lots of decorations up to make up for it!” another shared.

“Your family tree is so stunning. It represents you and Deborah to a Tee.. it shines ohhh so brightly! It truly reflects the Roker’s unique & personal style,” a third commented.

Others suggested Al could lean on Deborah when he was feeling down about the holidays.

On Monday, Al celebrated his 45th anniversary with NBC.
