A Complete Unknown star Timothee Chalamet has bee on absolute fire during his recent press tour for the film, executing one shrewd PR move after the next. His latest gambit — inviting New York City sports radio host Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo to the London premiere of the film — is just the latest evidence of that.
Earlier this month, during his weekly Wednesday appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo did his trademark ranting and raving, this time about not being invited to the New York City premiere of A Complete Unknown.
Timothee Chalamet, a New York City sports fanatic and clearly tapped-in member of Gen Z, got word of Mad Dog’s complaints and put the wheels in motion to remedy the situation by inviting him to the London premiere of A Complete Unknown, which was held on Tuesday night at the BFI Southbank.
Not only did Mad Dog get to walk the red carpet with his daughter, but he also got to meet Chalamet and shared an awesome moment with the acclaimed actor, whose clearly a fan of Russo’s.

Chalamet’s torrent PR run will continue later this month when he’s both the host and musical guest (presumably as Bob Dylan) of the January 25 episode of Saturday Night Live.
In addition to Chalamet, whose expected to be nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards for his performance as Bob Dylan, A Complete Unknown also stars Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Dan Fogler, Norbert Leo Butz, and Scoot McNairy.
