Tierra Whack has shared “SHOWER SONG,” the first single off her new album, WORLD WIDE WHACK.
Over a funky beat, Whack has fun describing her morning ritual on “SHOWER SONG,” extolling the virtues of exfoliation and not letting distractions take away from the underrated restorative powers of channeling Whitney, Britney, Aretha, and Alicia. “I sound great when I’m singing in the shower,” she sings. “Soap and water give me powers.”
The track arrives alongside a colorful and whimsical music video created with conceptual artist Alex Da Corte, which adds animation to Whack’s performance of “SHOWER SONG.” Watch it below.
WORLD WIDE WHACK will reveal Whack’s latest alter ego, which has been described in a press release as “both untouchable and vulnerable, superhuman, and painfully human.” The record is out March 15th via Interscope Records and will be released on four vinyl variants. Pre-orders are ongoing.
