IN the digital age of the selfie, social media users are buying all kinds of gadgets to take the sharpest possible photos.
One TikToker says she’s found the key to taking perfectly well-lit pictures and it’s only $9.
Beauty and fashion influencer (@thekarlatobie) took to TikTok to share her thoughts on a light that’s transformed her selfie game.
THE GADGET
Specially designed to take selfies with, the adjustable seven-lighting mode LED clip-on light can be attached to a smartphone, laptop, or tablet.
The user demonstrated her experience with the product which she is eligible for commission from.
She opens the video from her bathroom with the lights completely off and tells users she bought the portable phone clip viral selfie light.
She then asks: “Who [doesn’t] want their pictures and videos to look so beautiful at night?”
“Watch this, watch this, watch this,” she exclaims before turning on the selfie light.
“B*%#$ what?!” she says.
She tells users to run to get the item and claims it’s “the brightest lighting” and has different settings.
She then demonstrates what she refers to as a “cool setting,” a “warm setting” and a “mixture setting.”
“Fire,” she exclaims and once again implores other users to go buy it before ending the video.
LIGHT UP
The portable selfie light is also half off on TikTok shop right now and retails for $8.79 per the link in the user’s bio.
Commenters on the viral video expressed their excitement, especially for the way the user demonstrated how she uses the selfie light.
“THANK YOU for actually having the lights off before turning the selfie on.”
“I am completely sold cuz WHAT?!?!?” wrote another.
