The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Talia Morgan the investigative reporter will dig into Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) past, so look for Natalie Morales to debut in this new role. Morales confirmed the role herself on The Talk, where she co-hosts and recently teased her Y&R gig.
You can catch Natalie Morales in her first episode on August 17, but we’ll see Talia Morgan pop up for other episodes through the fall.
Of course, that no doubt means Talia’s investigation is going to pay off. They wouldn’t bring Talia back to say she found nothing at all!
In other words, Diane’s Los Angeles past may not be as squeaky clean as she lets on.
There’s a lot of great story potential since no one can know for sure exactly what “Taylor Jensen” was up to during her time out in LA.
However, things could get complicated since that’s still part of Diane’s past and not part of this new life she’s trying to build.
What matters most to Diane is Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) opinion – and he might view whatever Talia digs up as ancient history.
On the other hand, this could lead to criminal charges if Talia discovers something truly horrible like a murder Diane covered up.
Regardless, Diane has some buried secrets, but they’re not buried so deep that Talia can’t find them.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will put Talia on the case, so Natalie Morales will share scenes with Scott as well as Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers).
Morales also filmed with Susan Walters, who confirmed she had a blast in a recent tweet.
“Loved working with you, @nmoralestv … even though Diane was on the hot seat, haha!!!” Walters said on Twitter.
It sounds like Talia Morgan will make Diane’s fresh start in Genoa City even more difficult, so don’t miss what’s in store.
