The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) is gearing up for a big comeback once Genoa City celebrates Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, LeBlanc has been dealing with a personal battle behind the scenes – one that’s quite familiar to his soap character.
In an interview with WWLTV, LeBlanc opened up about his cancer diagnosis and how art imitated life.
Michael Baldwin had a cancer fight once upon a time, but more recently it became LeBlanc’s turn to tackle a cancer crisis of his own.
The Y&R star revealed that he was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma back in June. There were some warning signs that led up to that, including his loose ring and some nose bleeding.
However, it was LeBlanc’s droopy eye that caused even the fans to get in touch and express concern about his change in appearance.
LeBlanc explained that he had a tumor pressing on his optic nerve, but he underwent treatment and is thankfully in remission now.
Although LeBlanc lost about 35 pounds during his ordeal, his doctors told him to eat like it was his job as he worked to fully recover.
LeBlanc is doing much better now and seems thrilled to be back on the show, so that’s wonderful news.
