THE Voice fans have theorized on social media that Reba McEntire’s days might be numbered on the show.
Country music star Reba, 68, started as a full-time coach on The Voice in 2023 for Season 24.
Reba is now back for Season 25 alongside John Legend, Chance the Rapper, and first-timers Dan + Shay.
Although the NBC program received a couple of shakeups within the last year, Blake Shelton left in 2023, and Niall Horan didn’t return this year, fans predict there will be another.
In a thread on Reddit, fans revealed that they think Reba might get booted from The Voice.
“They need to get rid of Reba since Dan + Shay are also countries- rock talent on the show who has no chance at winning- Reba’s washed up and a has-been,” someone slammed on Reddit.
Last week, in an exclusive on-camera interview with The U.S. Sun at the 11th Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) Awards in Beverly Hills, California, Jerilynn Stephens and Darbie Wieczorak addressed the recent show shake-ups.
The two are The Voices’s staff hairstylists.
“Things that contribute to the people coming back to the show… would be the coaches changing,” Jerilynn said.
“I think that the contestants are always new and fresh – new faces.”

“And then having Dan and Shay for the double chair, that’s a really cool new experience.”
‘CONSTANTLY EVOLVING’
“The show is constantly evolving,” Jerilynn confessed.
Addressing Blake and Adam leaving the show, the Hollywood stylist stated: “We kept going. Everyone’s always replaceable.
“I mean, truly, it brings a new fresh feel to the show.”
She hopes the show, which had its premiere in 2011, will run for at least another decade.
“I hope it goes until I retire. We’re on season 25, and I’ve been there since season one,” Jerilynn claimed.
FRESH START
The Voice staff member also addressed Blake and his wife Gwen Stefani‘s on-camera chemistry when they were both judges on the show.
“People love Blake and Gwen together – I mean, who doesn’t?” Jerilynn confessed.
“First of all, Blake is a tall drink of water, and then Gwen is like a unicorn born,” she gushed.
The hairstylist shared: “She’s so gorgeous and they’re just super cute to watch, and it was really great to see their relationship kind of blossom on the show too.”
Now that Blake has left the show, Gwen announced in December 2023 that she does not plan to return for season 25.
There may be a chance she may still come back – Gwen has a history of coaching on The Voice over asynchronous seasons.
The former No Doubt singer shared she was leaving to focus on new music.
