First-time festival, The Capitol Grove, has announced the artist lineup for its projected gathering on June 29 through 30 at Bushnell Park in Hartford, Conn. The event, which focuses on folk and Americana-based music, will kick off on Saturday, June 29, with noted acts like headliner The Revivalist.
Day one of the East Coast festival will goes on to include music from Shakey Graves, Trampled by Turtles and others. Notably, the first-day bill has some distinct gaps, with a headliner and artist slot to be announced.
The final day features Dispatch, The Head and The Heart, Guster, Trevor Hall, and more–yet to be revealed. A thoughtful quality of the event is the organizer’s decision to host all 14 acts on a single stage to guarantee attendees don’t miss any of the action.
Besides music, the gathering will also boast a selection of craft beverages and food options. The Capitol Grove is produced by GoodWorks Entertainment Group, owner of Infinity Music Hall in Hartford, Conn., local concert series Hartford Live and Rhythm & Roots Festival.
