The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) will remain front and center in his latest storyline, which involves the fight to prove Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is still alive.
However, Kanan recently chose to address some different drama on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
In response to a video where a man slaps an elderly woman in the face at a store, Kanan indicated that he’d had enough of incidents like this.
“I don’t know about the rest of the civilized world but I’ve had it. This coward is accosting an elderly woman. I hate getting involved in politics but right is right,” Kanan said in his post.
The B&B actor went on to discuss how he’d address this situation if given the chance, which proved just how fed up he was.
“I would simply and politely ask this gentleman two questions 1) cash or charge regarding how he will pay for his visit to the ER. 2) how does he plan on picking up his shattered teeth with broken fingers. These are not threats. I would simply inquire out of polite curiosity,” Kanan insisted.
Kanan concluded his rant with a message about what he hopes people will take a stand for, so let’s look at what else he had to say in his post.
“I am not a tough guy but I’m also not a coward and this insanity must stop. That starts with everyone one of us that stands for empathy, compassion, decency and courage. Wishing you all Godspeed,” Kanan said as he wrapped things up.
Kanan’s post actually led to a minor online feud with Wally Kurth (Ned Quartermaine on General Hospital), but they managed to work it out with a short exchange and a few clarifications.
Since Kanan previously worked on GH as A.J. Quartermaine, he ultimately shared a fond memory of Kurth taking him out to lunch when he first got the gig.
Kanan assured everyone that he considered Kurth a longtime friend and praised his former co-star for having a civil discussion with him, so they left it on a positive note.
