Chelsea Handler is one of the top comics and hosts out there. She has broken several barriers for women in comedy. Chelsea is also a successful author and podcast host. Despite being in her 50’s, Chelsea looks like she’s in her early 30’s. How does she look so amazing? Here are 5 of Chelsea Handler’s secrets, and the photos that prove they work.

Chelsea shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she does a lot of lower body workouts, since she’s also an avid skiier. “I do lots of butt exercises so that if I fall when I ski, I’m not hurting myself or I’m not pulling any muscles.” Since Chelsea has amazing legs, we can see that these exercises are pretty effective.

When Chelsea hits the gym, she heads for the weights rather than the cardio machines. “I don’t do a ton of cardio,” Chelsea says to Women’s Health. “I do a lot of weight training because it’s really important for all women to hold on to lean muscle. I’m so grateful to be strong.”

Chelsea also talked about her diet in her Women’s Health interview. “I’m not crazy about my food,” she says. “I understand now that balance is really the most important thing—to not deprive yourself of anything that you like. I always want a little chocolate right before I go to bed, so I eat a Yasso bar as a nightcap.”

Chelsea loves to practice meditation to keep her mental state healthy. “The thing I love about meditating is it’s kind of like you’re praying,” Chelsea says to Women’s Health. “You’re setting an intention—’I’m going to be kind and thoughtful all day long’—and you’re setting yourself up for success. I wish I had learned this 20 years ago when I would fly off the handle if I thought somebody was annoying or stupid. I would tell them—I had no filter. Now I’m like, ‘Okay, no. That’s not kindness.”

Chelsea mentioned in her Women’s Health interview that she loves going skiing. According to Physio Fitness, this has a lot of health benefits. “Both skiing and snowboarding demand a high level of physical engagement, making them excellent full-body workouts. Skiing engages various muscle groups such as the core, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles, promoting strength, endurance, and flexibility.”
