CHELSEA Houska has mocked Teen Mom in a new video with her dad, Randy.
The MTV alum shared a TikTok on Saturday, and hinted that her relationship with Randy was edited to look different on the show.
In the video, Chelsea, 32, walked through a television set with her dad.
The duo mimed along to audio about a dad being relied on for money by his daughter, with the words “How everyone thought out relationship was on TM2” written on screen.
Starting off the clip, Teen Mom star Chelsea joked, “Of course we’re dad and daughter. My dad gives me all his money!”
“My daughter’s a b**ch,” Randy then said as he mimed looking annoyed.
In her caption, Chelsea explained that there was more to her relationship with Randy than Teen Mom 2 portrayed, writing, “One truth and a lie. (I WAS a little b) – but my dad always was the most supportive and I’m forever grateful for that!”
In the comment section, fans agreed that Randy was a great dad on the show.
“It wasn’t the money it was the fact that he listened. He listened no matter how many times it was the same story. I think we all need a dad like that,” said one.
“Your Dad always believed in you. It was nice to see how much support he gave you,” a second social media user praised.
Chelsea left Teen Mom in 2020, with Randy confirming their exit on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Well kids, that’s a wrap. Been a fun run on @MTV @TeenMom #teenmom2 What’s next? Seriously, tho, it has been a part of @ChelseaHouska entire adult life.
“We all expanded our horizons and grew as people #NoRegrets. See ya all on the flip side,” he wrote.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
While the father-daughter duo’s Teen Mom days are over, Randy has made guest appearances on Chelsea’s new show, Down Home Fab, which she hosts alongside her husband Cole DeBoer, 35.
Last February, HGTV renewed Down Home Fab for its second season, which is due to air this month.
However, the U.S. Sun exclusively reported that the show’s ratings plummeted by nearly 200,000 viewers during its first run.
Alongside dwindling ratings, many of the Chelsea and Cole’s design choices on the show have come under fire.
Shortly after the first season’s finale aired, fans harshly criticized the renovation, taking to Reddit to share their opinions.
“I’d prob ask for a refund,” the original poster wrote, starting the discussion.
“Nooo those shutters or whatever they’re called on the exterior look unfinished. I hate it,” one person commented.
“Why does it look like there’s pieces of plywood on the outside now?” another asked.
MAMA DRAMA
Although Chelsea left Teen Mom, she still has outstanding issues with the show.
It was revealed that she got a huge pay rise for season nine of Teen Mom 2.
Chelsea and Cole were sued by consulting company Envy for $3 million in 2020 for allegedly withholding money they made from social media promotions.
Chelsea, Cole, and the other defendants filed a counterclaim, alleging Envy actually withheld $150,000 from them in payments from the show.
The U.S. Sun exclusively exposed never-before-seen text messages between Envy’s Sara Nemerov and Chelsea’s manager, William Gerard Dzombak regarding salary negotiations, as seen in court papers from the case.
In the message screenshots, Envy’s Sara texted William regarding negotiations with MTV, “We r getting PD on ch new deal w MTV right. Since u negotiated.”
After batting a few messages back and forth, William wrote, “Okay. On the next one we do. This was included in her original deal. Season nine is huge money increase and new deal. They are adding a new cast member.”
