Ted Lasso Season 4 First Look: Jason Sudeikis Returns

It’s time for kickoff, as (some) cast members from Ted Lasso report for duty in Kansas City, Missouri for the beginning of production. As proof, Apple TV+ has released a first-look photo of Jeremy Swift, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Jason Sudeikis on the set of Season 4, with Sudeikis’s signature Ted Lasso mustache ready and accounted for.

In addition to the above, Brett Goldstein and Brendan Hunt are confirmed to be returning for the new season, which follows a third season that theoretically wrapped up the series. In that finale, the titular football-turned-soccer coach returned to America to be with his son; In Season 4, per the official description from Apple TV+, “Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.” Additional production will take place in London as well as in the States.

Joining the above stars are new cast members Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely. There’s also a new name amongst the show’s many executive producers, including Sudeikis, Goldstein, Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, and Bill Lawrence: 30 Rock and Nobody Wants This writer/executive producer Jack Burditt.
