Need some more wholesome football/soccer shenanigans in your life? Well, there’s good news in store for you. Ted Lasso season three finally has some updates for all of us, and they involve when we can expect the season and what we’ll see in it. Apple TV+ has released our first look at Ted Lasso season three, featuring the man himself, played by Jason Sudeikis, and Nick Mohammed’s Nathan Shelley. The third season of the beloved sports show will also officially release in the spring of 2023.
Seeing that mustache back in place sure is a good feeling. But when we left AFC Richmond, not everything was completely sunny. Still, it looks like at least Ted is willing to smile through any disagreements. That’s what we love about him.
According to Bill Lawrence, Ted Lasso‘s writer, and Brett Goldstein, who plays fan-favorite, Roy Kent, the third season will not disappoint. Deadline reports that Lawrence shared, “I’ve seen cuts of the show, and I think it’s f***ing awesome.” Goldstein, meanwhile, noted, “I love it.” There you have it.
Seasons one and two of Ted Lasso became true crowd pleasers and always hit a home run, I mean scored the goal. Ted Lasso season two actually came out in 2021, though. It’s hard to believe it’s been so long. But, although spring may still feel like it’s an age away, it’s actually just around the corner now. Hopefully, that means more about the season will follow shortly. Maybe we’ll even get a trailer sooner rather than later… And an actual release date beyond “spring” for Ted Lasso season three would be nice as well. Still, we’ll take what we can get and cross our fingers for more. We need that inspirational hilarity back in our lives, stat. Believe!
