Taylor, 34, coined the term over the weekend after performing songs from her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, in Paris, France.

“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!),” she wrote on social media Sunday.

“And everyone who made these memories so magical.

“To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you — but mostly for the fans in Paris.

“I’m so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love.”

She closed her post, writing, “I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm!” with a white heart emoji.

BROADWAY BOUND?

Since the news broke, fans have wondered about Taylor’s reasoning for filing a trademark for what was essentially a joke made during her tour.

Several believe that the star could be breaking into the Broadway scene.

“She is going into a musical now, I knew it,” a third claimed.

“We going Broadway!” a fourth gushed in all caps.

“Going for that EGOT,” a fifth commented, noting the acronym for scoring all four of the American performing art awards, including Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

“Her making a musical OMG,” another penned.

MERCH MINDED

However, others believed the term could just be used for new merchandise, as the pop star’s fandom has already begun creating t-shirts with the slogan since she coined the phrase.

“For merch,” one put shortly, while a second agreed, “I’m pretty sure this is just for merch.”

“Most likely to protect herself and her fans. People are already selling ‘Female Rage: The Musical’ with her picture on shirts and s**t,” a third noted.

“Ppl don’t realize that this is probably not anything to get excited for and that celebs buy up trademarks just to sue ppl who make merch and get a monopoly over words for whatever reason,” a fourth explained.

BACK ON TOUR

Taylor picked back up the international portion of her The Eras Tour last week after a two-month hiatus.

The songwriter returned to the stage in Paris before heading to Sweden later this week.

The Cruel Summer singer will wrap her shows in December after nearly two years on the road.

Taylor’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, 34, traveled to Paris for her last performance in the city to support.

The show marked the pop star’s 87th on the tour, which coincides with the football player’s Kansas City Chief’s jersey number.

While on stage, the Shake It Off singer donned her boyfriend’s team colors and blew him a kiss in front of the cheering Parisian crowd.
