Hailee Steinfeld, the actress and girlfriend of Buffalo Bills signal caller Josh Allen, was in town on Monday to catch a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Those watching along with the NFL broadcast at home likely had no idea she was in attendance, though.
Steinfeld was seated comfortably in a suite at Highmark Stadium, taking in a blowout win for the home team. Not once, however, was she seen on the television screen.
Instead, you would’ve had to scroll over to her social media outlets to become aware of her whereabouts.
It offered a stark contrast to the Taylor Swift mania that’s swept through the NFL over the last two seasons.
Taylor Swift received unnecessary flak after Hailee Steinfeld’s MNF appearance.
The music megastar has cameras on her each time she enters a football stadium. That includes her initial entrance, as well as in-game cuts during breaks in the action.
A number of notable online users commented on that difference following the Monday Night Football matchup.
TRENDING: Bills QB Josh Allen’s girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld was on Monday Night cheering him on.
Steinfeld was not shown on TV once during the game.
Steinfeld reportedly likes to keep a low profile and not make the game about her while attending.

The response was a clear shot at Taylor Swift, though the anger seems aimed in the wrong direction!
It’s largely been the NFL benefitting from Swift’s presence, not the other way around. Chiefs games have set numerous viewership records, with Swift playing an obvious role.
The money’s not been bad, either!
“Taylor Swift has generated an equivalent brand value of $331.5 million for the Chiefs and the NFL… Tell me another person that’s gonna do that!”
-Shannon Sharpe on Taylor Swift’s impact
Cameras seek her out, even when she seems irritated with the spotlight!
“The attention is there because the audience wants to see it,” said Jason Kelce. “If people didn’t want to see it, they wouldn’t be showing it.”
That said, her average airtime is minimal in comparison to the length of the broadcast.
CBS released a graphic after receiving criticism of the singer’s television time, noting that she’s typically shown for less than a minute of combined action throughout the three-to-four-hour contests.
The nerve!
Hailee Steinfeld may enjoy the low profile, and she’s able to keep it relatively easily in comparison to the world’s most popular entertainer.
Taylor Swift might like some privacy while attending games in Kansas City. Unfortunately, the NFL has made it impossible!
The two situations aren’t related!
