MUSIC fans have been left doing a double take after this superstar DJ turned his back on dance music and overhauled his look.
The DJ, 41, has made a big comeback and turned his attentions to country music while switching up his appearance to match.
Fans are even quipping that he “looks like he’s been on a gap year” after realising who he is.
The man in question is Scots-born DJ, producer and singer-songwriter Calvin Harris.
Calvin has given fans a listen to his new country-inspired track, which is called Smoke The Pain Away, on TikTok.
The dimly-lit music video shows him singing into a mic while playing the guitar.
One fan was so stunned he commented: “Has Calvin been on a gap year?”
Amused, Calvin replied: “Lol.”
Another wrote: “Ok wow! And that vibe you are rocking.”
A third agreed: “Different vibe but loving it!”
And someone else chimed in: “Country dance – this sounds sick!”
Calvin also showed off his new look while walking the red carpet with his wife Vick Hope at this year’s Brit Awards.
In fact, he could have almost been mistaken for Bradley Cooper‘s character Jason Maine in A Star Is Born.
Calvin was dressed for the huge music event – which took place last Saturday – in a cream vest top with a matching open shirt over the top.
He teamed them with smart brown trousers and brown loafer shoes.
Calvin has grown out his hair and now sports a bushy beard and moustache.
It is a much-welcomed comeback for Calvin, who started making music when he was just 13 years old.
He had burst onto the music scene in 2007 with his debut album I Created Disco and enjoyed a hugely successful career.
