Victoria Silvstedt is a multi-talented model, TV host, actress, and singer who has maintained her success in various industries. Recently, she shared a glimpse of her fitness routine on Instagram, where she was seen working out with a friend, captioning the post, “Back at it.” Silvstedt, who is known for her active lifestyle, draws from her athletic background to stay in shape and achieve her personal goals. With a focus on balance, both in her diet and fitness, she incorporates key wellness habits into her daily life. Here’s a closer look at how Silvstedt stays fit and healthy.
Silvstedt shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Grazia. She says that she grew up playing a lot of sports, and that this helps her in her daily life. “As a competitive person, I now use competition in my daily life as a way to set goals and never give up. As a result of doing sports and skiing, I learned discipline and how to cope with failure. You can’t always be the best. That’s okay, but never give up! As a competitive person, I now use competition in my daily life as a way to set goals and never give up. As a result of doing sports and skiing, I learned discipline and how to cope with failure. You can’t always be the best. That’s okay, but never give up!“
Silvstedt talked about how she has grown as a person in her Grazia interview. “Compared to 20 years ago, I’m much more mature and self-assured now,” she says. “I was wild. I have calmed down a bit, thankfully. (Laughs.) When I was younger, I attended every event, every party. Now I’m more selective. Furthermore, I am much healthier now than I was back then! You appreciate health and well-being more as you age.“
Silvstedt shared some of her diet and exercise secrets in an interview with Arabian Moda. She says that she eats a balanced diet. “First of all, I love to eat. I am not your green juices 24/7 kind of girl. I must have a desert everyday and especially chocolate. And what is a night like without a glass of wine? However, I try to avoid eating carbs and especially before a photo-shoot. I also try to limit my amount of red meat intake. I guess you can describe my diet as a Mediterranean, wholesome and vegetable-based diet.”
Silvstedt shared her favorite workouts in her Arabian Moda interview. “I prefer to go running outside rather than to workout at the gym,” she says. Running is very beneficial. Valley Oaks states, “After going for a run, your body experiences a drop in the stress hormone cortisol. This reduction diminishes feelings of stress, allowing you to go about the rest of your day with less tension and anxiety. In addition to mitigating stress, running also invokes feelings of calmness. Following a run, your body releases chemicals called endocannabinoids. These chemicals flow through your bloodstream and into your brain, relaxing your mind and body.”
Silvstedt values wellness, and talked about this in her Grazia interview. “Eat clean, sleep well, and exercise moderately every day. Enjoying life is another good beauty tip. You’ll look better on the outside if you’re happy on the inside. Have fun socializing and doing whatever else you enjoy. I eat as clean as possible, a balanced Mediterranean diet. I try to buy biologically grown, organic products. I also do everything in moderation. If I have a glass of wine for dinner, then it’s no dessert. In terms of exercise, it’s a lot of Pilates, yoga, and power walks.”
