Simona Halep is hitting the Sports Festival in Cluj – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the tennis star shares her gratitude after spending a weekend at the annual event. “Feeling very grateful,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. Simona is a runner. When she is at home, you might find her on the treadmill. However, when traveling she will pound pavement around the city. “Go Simona / City of lights,” she captioned a post from a run in Paris. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.
Simona does a lot of strength and weight training. She uses kettlebells, weight plates, cables, sliders, and TRX for her workouts. Simona once revealed that she loves to sometimes eat sushi, but strictly California rolls and also pasta without cream sauce. She also loves pizza. “I’d like to eat pizza every day, but I’m not able to,” she told BBC.
Simona is a tennis player.
