Silent Planet have shared a new track, their first since the release of their full-length ‘Iridescent’ at the end of last year.
And let’s just say that it’s a heavy one.
The track is called ‘:Signal:’ and finds the band at their most unrelenting, with tight breakdowns and dizzying riffs aplenty.
And vocalist Garrett Russel sounds utterly phenomenal, howling over each note with a punishing grit.
As a way to kick off a new story, it’s a triumph.
The band had this to say about it:
“This is the first chapter in a story of one particular transformation… and the ‘impossible’ events that followed initial contact. Whether we interpret these matters as fact or fiction is irrelevant, because we have become many things, but we’ve yet to be alone. ‘Many become one.”
