RACIST film fans have threatened to boycott the next James Bond movie if Jewish actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson is confirmed in the role.

The Sun told last week that the star, 33, has been offered the part — but he has since endured anti-Semitic comments online.

The hashtag #BoycottJamesBond has been widely shared on X/Twitter.

One fan railed at the producers, writing: “Really bad timing with Israel committing genocide in Gaza. Shame on you. I hope your company collapses.”

Another wrote on Instagram: “Boycott Bond, Free Palestine.”

And a third said: “I wont buy a ticket for any of its movies. Will boycott all of it. Bunch of killers.”

The Community Security Trust, which records anti-Semitic incidents, has said Jews have faced a surge in attacks since Israel’s retaliation to Hamas terror attacks in October.

And Jewish Tory MP Andrew Percy said: “Sadly in recent months we have seen record levels of anti-Semitism, much of it driven by those who claim to be concerned about the Middle East conflict.

“Sadly, we know for many this is just a cover for their sinister anti-Jewish views.”

In 2022, The Sun on Sunday revealed that Aaron, of High Wycombe, Bucks, was in the running for the job after screen-testing for Bond supremo Barbara Broccoli at Pinewood Studios.

The star’s mother, Sarah, is Jewish with Russian ancestry.

In 2015, Aaron said he liked it when someone told him he resembled a fashionable Hasidic Jew.

He said: “That was nice because I have really curly hair and also I’m Jewish.”

Asked this month whether he would step into Bond’s shoes, the actor, wed to film director Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, said: “I find it charming and wonderful.”
