The outgoing Meta Chief Operating Officer tied the knot to former NBC News producer Tom Bernthal on Saturday, August 20. The new bride announced the exciting news on Instagram, showing fans her gorgeous Western-themed wedding held in Wyoming.

The weekend was all about wedding bells for Sandberg and Bernthal as the adorable couple said their vows in a beautiful ceremony. Following the grand occasion, the former COO shared a picture of herself and the groom in a picturesque outdoor setting. In the image, the newlyweds held hands while standing on a paved path in the forest.

According to Page Six, Sandberg bought out and locked down the entire Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the private event. The nuptials were also attended by high-net-worth individuals and politicians that required tons of security, including the Secret Service!

The bride donned a stunning lace number designed with intricate French detailing and short sleeves draped gracefully off her shoulders. Because Sandberg posed with her back facing the camera, the front details of the dress could not be seen. However, the flowy outfit came with a short train that swept the floor.

The groom did not lose in the fashion department as the former TV producer looked dashing in an all-black suit paired with a white shirt designed with black buttons. Bernthal completed the formal theme with smart black shoes and looked every bit as happy as his wife, who was captured laughing as she stared at the sky.

This heartwarming image was captioned with several red heart emojis alongside the word “MARRIED.” According to PEOPLE, the former NBC employee uploaded the same picture on social media. Unlike the retired COO, the founder of Kelton Global penned a touching message to mark his wedding. In his caption, the businessman revealed that the couple bonded over their shared sense of loss.

The lovebirds never imagined they would find love again after losing their significant others. However, the pair merged their families over the last three years. Getting emotional, the former White House staffer described his wedding to Sandberg as a “dream come true.” The groom’s statement was not far-fetched as the newlyweds’ ceremony seemed like a fairytale event.

The spouses, whose love for country music influenced their engagement on a ranch, added numerous Western touches to the wedding. These details included Bernthal’s outfit of cowboy boots and jeans.

The lovebirds also incorporated their blended family of seven into the ceremony. The bride’s two children and her husband’s three kids all joined the bridal party. While talking to the news outlet, the newlyweds noted that it was not a wedding for two but an event for all seven of them.

The family affair did not end there as Rob Goldberg, the brother of Sandberg’s late husband Dave, served as the couple’s co-officiant. According to the LeanIn.Org founder, her former brother-in-law’s presence was “as close to Dave’s blessing” as possible. Rob’s position as co-officiant fitted perfectly as he influenced the spouses’ relationship.

The dynamic duo began dating in 2019 after Sandberg’s late husband’s brother introduced the pair. Rob, who has a close friendship with Bernthal, previously told the media outlet about the couple’s love story. The former News producer’s pal knew his friend wanted someone to build a life with following his divorce, the same thought his former sister-in-law had.

Rob’s trust in Bernthal to do right by the “Option B” author and her children paid off in the end. During their engagement, the Washington native proposed with a ring featuring their blended family. In reference to their five kids, the entrepreneur popped the question with an engagement ring designed with five small diamonds hidden underneath the band.

The ‘Lean In’ Author Honored Tom Bernthal With A Touching Tribute

Earlier this year, PEOPLE shared that Sandberg wrote an emotional letter to Bernthal, where she thanked him for giving her a second chance at love. In the sweet tribute to her then-fiancé, the former Meta COO confessed that “one of the most transformative and fastest-flying years” of her life happened during the couple’s relationship.

The businesswoman stated that she never thought she would love someone else or remarry after her late husband. However, Bernthal changed her world for the better. Sandberg admitted that starting again felt scary; however, the tech mogul believed the Washington native would only bring happiness into her life.
